For a score with a range of 300-850, a credit score that is above 700 is generally accepted as good. But there is a range of scores that both FICO and VantageScore use. FICO Score ratings are as follows: Poor: 300-579; Fair: 580-669; Good: 670-739

As with prior updates, the updated BEACON 9.0 is aligned so that the same score range equates to the same level of risk as the previous version of the BEACON Score on the redevelopment sample data. Lenders can expect that odds at a given score for BEACON 9.0 are similar to what is observed in the prior FICO® Score versions.
